Befindet sich mehr Wasser in der Auffangschale? Dann liegt es wohl an der Brüheinheit. Normal ist maximal ein Schnapsglas pro Kaffeebezug an Restwasser normal. Ist es deutlich mehr, dann könnte es daran liegen. Oftmals spült das Gerät dann auch nicht oder geringer.
Ist die Pumpe am Anfang lauter und wird dann leiser? Dann könnte das Auslaufventil defekt sein.
Für die Kaffeemenge ist der Flowmeter zuständig, dadurch erkennt die Elektronik die Menge an Wasser, die in das Gerät läuft. Kalk kann auch eine Ursache sein für weniger Menge, allerdings ist dann die Pumpe meist leiser.

The amount of Water which runs into the coffee machine transmitted the flowmeter to the Electronic.
